What Are Channel Strips?

Audio channel strips are physical units used in audio production to process individual audio signals. They typically include several components like EQ (equalisation), compression, gating, and sometimes additional effects such as reverb or delay.  Channel strips are found in mixing consoles or standalone units, providing similar functionality for processing audio signals before they are mixed together.
