True To the Original Controls

For the WA-1B compressor to deliver extended dynamic processing it features all the original controls of its modern-classic inspiration. It supports a variable threshold providing maximum control of how much compression is applied to any signal. The ratio is variable and has endless controls between 2:1 and 10:1. From soft musical dynamic control to hard-smashing compression.

Attack and Release

The WA-1B features attack and release controls that unique as they can be switched between a fixed, manual or a combined setting. The fixed setting delivers the natural attack and release time of the optical element. Additionally, the combined setting creates the opportunity for a nuanced release-time curve.

Check Your Levels

This compressor’s meter switch has three settings: input and compression and output levels. On the input setting the VU meter is reading the level at the input connector. On the compression setting the VU meter is reading gain production. And on the output setting the VU meter is reading the level at the output connecter. The On/Bypass switch activates or bypasses the compressor with no signal passing through the circuitry.
