A Natural Stereo Image

The WA-14 produces clear mid frequencies, controlled bass and defined high-end emphasis to capture the original performance in the room. The condenser microphone accomplishes natural pianos, stereo guitars, and clear overheads, delivering a natural stereo image. They come as a sequential pair and are tested to be within +/- 1dB of each other for reliable stereo recording.

Custom-Made

The WA-14 microphone’s edge-terminated, dual-diaphragm capsule is custom-made out of solid brass and thoroughly matches the specifications and warmth of the original. It authentically reproduces the clear open top end of the original all-brass CK12 capsule. The WA-14 features a custom Cinemag transformer that emits the full richness and detailed sound production of the CK12-style capsule. This component is not found on current reissues of EB-style mics.
