HM10 Hanging Condenser Microphone

The Studiospares HM10 is a fantastic low cost, high-quality hanging condenser microphone that is ideal for capturing choral and orchestral elements due to its unobtrusive size. With over 20 years of refined design being implemented into the HM10’s design, you can expect only the best build and sound quality from this microphone. All wrapped up in a modest price tag, the HM10 is an absolute must-have condenser microphone.

Features:

The Studiospares HM10 is an electret condenser microphone that features a cardioid polar pattern. Which will be perfect for recording sources directly in front of the microphone and rejecting sound from the sides and behind the mic. Excellent during applications in the orchestral realm, as they can reject the sound spill of other elements on stage and capture every dynamic of the performance with ease.

You can expect the quietest of recordings while using the HM10, as this microphone features a UniGuard design that makes it practically immune to any RF interference. Meaning you have no worries or concerns about where and how you use this microphone as you can expect the quietest of results.

The HM10 has a flat frequency response ranging from 30Hz - 20kHz. Meaning the HM10 will have no issue capturing any frequency you'll require with great integrity. Leading on from this point, even if you have incredibly loud sound sources the HM10 will have no trouble in accurately capturing as its maximum SPL is 139dB (1% THD at 1kHz). The HM10 also has an inherent noise level <20dB.

Lastly, one of the most useful features of the HM10 is the attached 6m cable with a full-sized XLR male connector at the end. Not many condenser microphones have an already attached XLR cable and not one as long as 6m, this is such a convenience as you won’t need to expand your XLR cable collection or route around looking for one when the time comes. You are always ready to go and will be able to place it anywhere on stage or in the studio with ease.

Being a condenser microphone, it will need to be powered by 48-volt phantom power.
