I purchased a pair of C3s to try due to the fact they had multi direction diaphrams. I used them to record an orchestra and choir and the results were comparable with mics costing much more. For any one interested in starting recording these Behringer C3 condenser mics open up so many possibilities without breaking the bank.

I mainly use this mic for recording electric guitar and it does an outstanding job of it, clean, clear and crisp sound. You can place this mic in any position and still get great sound reproduction. works best for guitar amps when used with a small stand.

Bought as a cheap experiment for live use micing 2+ singers on one mic. Vocal group I work with are very high standard, and produce a very balanced sound that this mic pics up perfectly. I imagined this mic would not be very forgiving but even from 2-3 feet away, with one vocalist (who was looking away from the mic during a post-gig song) it still picked up a great sound. Had to really push the gain on the mixer, but luckily the mic is not too noisy, and we avoided wind noise with the lo-cut built in to the mic. I don't imagine it's the most durable if dropped, but as it comes with a foam padded carry case you've no excuse! Pickup pattern selector switch is a little clunky, and on the 3 of these I ended up buying the switches have inconsistent levels of travel, but that seems to be the only build compromise. No on-off switch, basic stand mount included which needs tightening or will slowly drop down. Finally, these mics give a very clear and flat response, I have yet to see a response curve but I suspect it would be a flat line mainly - therefore some might accuse these mics of not having any character - this may be true to an extent but I make a point of only ever micing up something that already sounds good, especially live. Hence I've had no problems, and got three for the same price as one SM58... Also they look great when mounted on a regular mic stand with the boom arm taken off - much neater especially if using multiple mics on stage - sounds trivial but is important for performance purposes. Highly recommended, I didn't expect anything from these and was very very pleasantly surprised - if you are sensible with your techniques I doubt you will be disappointed with these mics.
