Recommended for general purpose sound reinforcement applications requiring good rejection of ambient noise, the WL185 is a cardioid lavalier microphone with a 130-degree pickup angle. It has a 1.2 meter (4 ft.) cable terminated with a miniature 4-pin mini connector. The included tie clip can be rotated in 90-degree intervals for placement flexibility. Use of windscreen highly recommended.

The WL185 cardioid miniature lavalier condenser microphone is designed for use in speech applications such as broadcast presentations, speeches, lectures and for use in houses of worship.

What is an interchangeable cartridge?

All the Microflex series of microphones use interchangeable cartridges (sold separately) which means you can swap between cardioid, super cardioid and omnidirectional condenser cartridges simply by screwing them onto the top of the lavalier mic.

Want to use it wired?

The WL185 is designed for wireless use with a bodypack transmitter. If you wish to use it wired, choose the MX185 which is the same microphone but includes an in-line preamplifier and a 1.2m cable with a TA4F connector.
