The e902 is a dynamic cardioid instrument microphone, which was designed for the lowest bass signals with very high sound pressure levels. It is suitable for kick drums, bass guitar amps, tuba, and other bass instruments. The Sennheiser e900 Backline Series was the TEC Award Winner 2005 for Outstanding Technical Achievement in the category of Microphone Technology/ Sound Reinforcement.
Its frequency response is optimised for kick drum and it has a very fast attack, exceptionally clean and clear pick up of the deepest bass signals and an integral stand mount. It also features a hum compensating coil, shock-mounted capsule and a robust metal body. Also included is a user manual.
