    Schoeps RC 1200 Active Extension Tube

    Overview

    Active tubes are inserted between a capsule and a microphone amplifier of the modular Colette system, making it possible top place microphones unobtrusively in the orchestra without affecting the view. The RC Active Tube has been a true original in the pro audio world since its introduction back in the late 70s.

    At the head end of the RC there is a swivel, where the capsule can be tilted between 0° and 120°. At the base of the RC there is a screw thread where the microphone amplifier (e.g. CMC 6) is screwed onto. The RC 1200 features a length of 1200mm.
