PreSonus Eris E66 Near Field Studio Monitor

The PreSonus Eris® E66 active MTM (D’Appolito) near-field studio monitor delivers a smooth on- and off-axis response with even more dynamic output compared to other conventional two-way studio monitor configurations, all thanks to their MTM (midwoofer-tweeter-midwoofer) design that features a 1.25-inch silk dome high-frequency driver nested between 2 6-inch woven composite low-frequency drivers.

The nested MTM configuration facilitates both vertical and horizontal loudspeaker placement while providing improved spatial resolution with a much wider sweet spot compared to other conventional designs. The weave and nature of the dual woven composite woofers help in breaking up reflected energy, so fewer delayed reflections reach your ears during your sessions. This results in a less coloured and more cohesive sound. The dual woofers operate in parallel within the same frequency range, acting to minimise phase displacements to ultimately provide optimal stereo imaging.
