Robust and Reliable Construction

The LS12 Line Splitter features a high-quality build specification. The LS12 is manufactured from die-cast aluminium, with metal endplates that the sockets and switches are mounted to. Meaning that the LS12 will survive under the heaviest of hands while in any recording studio or a live touring scenario. The LS12 applications can include live recording or broadcasting, press conferences, and on-stage monitoring for example.

Located on the right-hand side of the unit is a 1x female XLR input socket. The input circuit is line-level and can also be used as an isolation transformer for long audio line feeding. In addition to the right side, there is 1x male XLR direct output, so the unit can be included in any circuit without losing the signal path. Fundamentally this means you can keep the original signal path while splitting the signal.

Meanwhile, on the left-hand side, the LS12 features 2x male XLR outputs that are transformer coupled. In addition, the left side features 2x ground lift switches that will help combat ground loops and keep any interference or other noise to an absolute minimum while the unit converts the signal.

Lastly, all inputs and outputs are fully isolated from each other via the built-in transformer, to minimise interferences from SCR lighting dimmers, radio transmitters, and even AC power wiring for example. Ultimately ensuring the quietest and highest quality conversions are present when using this unit.
