Kali LP-8 8" Powered Studio Monitor - Single
Kali Audio’s Lone Pine Series studio monitors are specifically designed to allow you to hear every single detail within your mix. This all begins with an exceptionally accurate frequency response, whatever is present in your mix is what you’ll hear from these monitors. No aspect of the sound is boosted or suppressed, what you hear is a true representation and not a coloured or pleasing sound. When using the Kali LP-8 you can mix with more confidence and have the assurance that your mix will translate as best as possible to whatever systems your audience is listening on.
- 3-D Imaging Waveguide – hear three-dimensional sound from a stereo pair of speakers.
- Dual-Layer Voice Coil – Large diameter voice coil allows for low distortion and a high dynamic range.
- Low Noise Port Tube – Precisely engineered using airflow simulations for powerful bass without port noise.
Power – Kali Audio defines a listening distance as the maximum distance at which the speakers can play continuously at 85dB while maintaining 20dB dynamic headroom. Meaning anywhere within that listening distance, you can listen for long periods of time at reference volume.
Bass on the LP-Series monitors is delivered by larger magnets and larger voice coils than any comparable speakers available on the market today, this results in you receiving a more accurate bass response that extends lower so you can dial in the exact low-end sound you need. The integrated Class D Power amp delivers clean, reliable power that is optimised to this speaker, the LP-8 uses 40W for the 1” soft dome tweeter and 60W for the 8” woofer.
Boundary EQ Control – Kali’s team tuned the LP-Series at The Village Studios in Los Angeles, where they came up with boundary compensation EQ settings to help you get the optimum sound for where you need to put these speakers. Combined with the LF and HF trims, this ensures that the speakers sound their absolute best no matter what room you are working in or where the speakers are placed.
Easy Connections – The LP-8 features balanced XLR and TRS inputs with an unbalanced RCA input. In addition, the RCA input can be set to -10dBu sensitivity when using consumer devices like laptops or smartphone headphone jacks.
