PreSonus Eris E7 XT Studio Monitor
PreSonus’ best-selling studio monitors just got even better
The PreSonus Eris E7 XT Studio Monitor offers you the best sound by delivering a smooth, accurate frequency response, powerful amplification with plenty of headroom and acoustic tuning functions to ensure you only get the best sound. This high level of specification and performance is the reason the Eris®-series studio monitors have been a runaway hit since their introduction. The Eris E7 XT builds on the Eris XT series by adding big, controlled bass in a compact form that will easily fit into any studio size. Deep lows and a wide, more controlled sweet spot (thanks to its EBM waveguide design) mean you can expect professional studio sound quality from the Eris E7 XT.
Studio speakers with a wide sweet spot
The PreSonus Eris E7 XT Studio Monitor has been outfitted with a new EBM (Elliptical Boundary Modeled) waveguide designed by none other than Hugh Sarvis of WorxAudio, the mind behind the award-winning CDL loudspeakers and lauded R-Series monitors. What can be expected from this is a superior high-frequency response and wider 100-degree horizontal dispersion to create a broader sweet spot. Perfect for group listening and collaboration sessions, the narrow vertical dispersion helps reduce reflections from your desk so you can experience only the sound from the monitors, not reflections. Lastly, the silk-dome tweeters ensure snappy, accurate transient reproduction.
Bass that’s just right
The familiar woven composite low-frequency driver still delivers Eris’ signature tight, clear bass that gives plenty of punch with no flub. The PreSonus Eris E7 XT Studio Monitors sport a ported enclosure that is designed to maximise bass in a compact cabinet, allowing the monitors to reach all the way down to 42Hz with no need for a subwoofer.
Set up your studio monitors for your room
PreSonus knows that modern recording studios can be located anywhere from a spare bedroom to a multi-million-dollar facility, that’s why every studio made by PreSonus is equipped with controls that ensure the flattest response in your mix environment. Acoustic tuning controls allow you to configure the Eris E7 XT monitor correctly for your room with Low-cut, Mid, and High controls, as well as 3-way acoustic space tuning that allows you to easily compensate for the sonic consequences of speaker placement against a wall or in a corner.
Studio monitor connections
Feeding audio to the PreSonus Eris E7 XT Studio Monitors from audio interfaces, mixers, monitor controllers and almost any other line-level source is a breeze. All thanks to the provided balanced XLR, balanced ¼” TRS and unbalanced RCA line-level inputs. You’ll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up to virtually anything.
Accuracy defined
The Eris E7 XT monitor is suitable for both home recording studios and professional mix engineering. The Eris E7 XT studio monitors combine sterling audio quality with the flexible tuning and connectivity that PreSonus have been known for delivering.
