The ME Personal Mixing System puts the musician in control of their own monitor mix. Each performer can be given a tailored setup that works perfectly for them, whether they crave maximum control over the fine details of their mix or just want the minimum of keys to press.

Operation is intuitive and elegant, with simple controls and clear visual feedback for instant familiarity. The system has earned respect for rugged reliability on the road, and of course, it lives up to Allen & Heath’s reputation for exceptional audio quality.

The ME-1 is probably the most sophisticated personal mixer on the market, giving you precision control over up to 40 channels to satisfy the most demanding ears.

It is ideal for resident artists (such as a broadcast house band or church praise band) and shows with high channel counts and plenty of rehearsal time. The ME-1 allows the engineer to configure each unit to perfectly reflect each artist’s tastes and needs.

16 Backlit Keys

Each key is assignable to a single mono or stereo source (bass guitar for example) or to a group of sources (the whole drumkit for example).

16 User Presets

Levels, pan, mutes, and key assignments can all be stored and recalled at the touch of a button. Presets can also be stored to USB and recalled on any ME-1 unit.

Groups

Sources can be grouped within the ME-1, so each performer can use different groups without consuming buses on the main console.

Custom Naming

ME-1 can display custom names for all channels and groups. ME-1s connected to a dLive or SQ mixer automatically pick up names from the console.

Built-in Ambient Mic

The ambient mic keeps performers in touch with the stage sound and lets them hear the audience and communicate with each other without needing to pull out their earpieces.

System Examples

ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be directly connected to any available ME, SLink, dSnake or Monitor port in an Allen & Heath digital mixing system. Multiple ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be daisy-chained with all mixers powered via external PSU.

The ME-U Hub can be connected to any available ME, SLink, dSnake or Monitor port in an Allen & Heath digital mixing system. ME-1 and ME-500 mixers connected directly to the ME-U are powered via PoE. Additional ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be daisy-chained and powered via an external PSU. Multiple ME-U hubs can be daisy-chained together if more than 10 ports are required.

ME 3rd Party Options

The ME-U hub can be fitted with a Dante or MADI option card enabling the connection of 3rd party digital mixing systems.

ME-1 and ME-500 mixers connected directly to the ME-U are powered via PoE. Additional ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be daisy-chained and powered via an external PSU. Multiple ME-U hubs can be daisy-chained together if more than 10 ports are required.

ME-1 and ME-500 can be used as drop-in replacements for older AVIOM® A-16ii units.

DiGiCo and ME

The DMI-ME option card enables selected DiGiCo consoles to send up to 40 channels to a ME system.
