Behringer X32 Rack Digital Mixer

You can easily control every parameter of the mix directly on the X32 RACK using the 800 x 480 graphic UI, but the awesome flexibility of networked remote control literally opens up an amazing world of possibilities. Use our X32-EDIT PC/Mac/Linux application, X32-MIX for iPad, X32-Q for iPhone/iPod touch and X32-Q for Android to control the mix from anywhere in the room. You can even run multiple instances of these powerful apps at the same time, giving your performers the ability to mix their own personal monitors on-the-fly!

With its 16 MIDAS-design mic preamps and dual AES50 ports, the X32 RACK can support up to six S16 digital stage boxes for massive I/O connectivity. Ultra-flexible routing options and 8 powerful stereo FX engines make the X32 RACK the ideal choice for handling audio now – and as your needs grow.

Exactly the same engine as the larger X32 console, quite a feature packed Rack unit Mixer,I opted for the Behringer X32 Rack after researching several rack mount Mixer units(Mackie DL32/Presonus RM32)The behringer is the only one that doesn't rely on the external software or an iPad,you can edit all the features from its onboard screen which was a huge plus for me,I didn't want to rely on software incase OS became obsolete, to control it,although I've yet to use it wirelessly, the X32 editor on mac is logically laid out and mimics the screens on the unit itself,I have it hardwired via Ethernet and so the unit is tucked away in the rack, without having to be sat in front of it to use it,having a rack option means the desktop is not being taken up by a slab of a mixer and doing mixing via software meant that the physical side of the mixer was redundant, although it has plenty of inputs(16 Midas pre maps)plus 6 Auxillary Jacks,I only wish it had more XLRs,given the price of this unit(I paid just over 1k it would be worth buying this as an expander for the Compact or producer X32 models as opposed to the S16 which isn't really that much cheaper in comparison, overall really pleased with the unit
