The SEQ231 is 2U high. 31 frequency bands of ISO spaced frequencies at 1/3 octave intervals with 35mm sliders.

The Studiospares SEQ range of Graphic Equalisers share common facilities including two switches for bypassing EQ circuits and total bypass linking input to output. A variable Low Cut filter operates between 10Hz and 250 Hz. An LED ladder indicates the onset of overloading. Frequency boost and cut sliders can be switched between 6dB and 15dB globally. An output transformer avoids making ground loops when interfacing with other equipment as does a gain control allowing for differing equipment signal levels.

Also available in the series ->

EQ 215. - 1U high and has 15 frequency bands spaced at 2/3rd octaves with 35mm sliders.
348130 EQ 230A. - 3U high. 31 frequency bands of ISO spaced frequencies at 1/3 octave intervals with 55 mm sliders for greater accuracy. 348150
This range of Graphic equalisers provide all the facilities at a modest price through purchasing direct from the factory and selling direct to the customer. Nothing is compromised.

I put this unit on the monitor sends from the desk at a local rock venue and was very pleased with the overall sound and function. It doesn't have the feedback detection that some others in this price band have, but I didn't buy it for it's flashing lights. The sliders have a solid feel and the slider knobs are chunky enough to get hold of easily. The sound quality is excellent for the price and better than most. The power switch is located on the rear of the unit which makes it awkward to turn on in a rack and the output level is marked 0 - 10 with no 'unity gain' marking which I would personally like. But on the whole, a very usable piece of kit at a sensible price.
