A fantastic combo for a home studio set-up. The oxygen 49 is ideal for starting out on a budget home studio 49 keys , lovely action with Mod and Pitch. Where this little number comes into its own is the control of your favourite DAW's . I've tested it on Ableton live 8 and 9 . I have also tested on Cubase SX 3 , Cubase 5 , Nuendo and Reason 5 !!! All responded easily with no problems setting up. 9 sliders, 9 buttons Transport and 8 assignable nobs!! What more could you ask for... Plus a lite download of Ableton and Avids Ignite software. All Drivers and manuals easily downloaded from M-Audios Web site!! Don't think .. BUY IT!!!

Works well and helps with creativity in music production. Only thing is you have to auto assign the button when other reviews/advertisement claimed it was also designed for Ableton live. Still dispite this for the price it is a very convincing bit of kit! Would recommend to a fried!
