We use this as a semi-professional ceilidh band. We usually have limited time to set up in venues such as village halls, marquees and hotel ballrooms. We never know what conditions we'll encounter beforehand and frequently discover that we are expected to play in an unlit corner, with the lights in the room dimmed 'to provide ambiance'. We need to bring all of our gear - PA, instruments, lights in a couple of cars. The KAM LED PARBAR has been a real bonus for us. Easy to assemble - literally a couple of minutes - and the light levels, although not as bright as normal parcans, are bright enough and the parbar assembly itself seems well made. Being LED's, of course, there is little heat generated so your hair doesn't fry, unlike conventional parcans. A couple of gripes: 1. the stand is not high enough, resulting in the lights being just above eyelevel - needs to another couple of feet higher to get enough light dispersion and to stop being annoyingly right in your eyeline. We are now using our old lighting stand. 2. the bag is very flimsy and started to come apart on the very first gig. Gripes apart, an excellent piece of kit for a band like ours.
