Trantec's S4.4 is a function-packed system designed to launch you into the world of wireless. Tough, reliable and compact, this multi-function system is optimised for use with handheld, lapel mic and a range of headsets - or switch to use with a musical instrument.

Not only does the S4.4 come with a bargain basement price tag, it is also extremely economical to run. Its four channels can be used licence free in the UK, and a single 9V battery will give you approximately 10 hours of quality performance with a range of up to 100 metres.

The LP-2 miniature lavalier microphone offers superb audio quality combined with stylish looks at an affordable price.

The robustly designed LP-2 is a high quality microphone consisting of an electret transducer capsule exhibiting an omnidirectional characteristic. It has been specifically designed to suit the requirements of everyday applications and is particularly suitable for voice applications, where highly intelligible speech is required. The LP-2 is available in black, and has a permanently attached cable.

S4.4 Beltpack
The beltpack is equally at home in applications as diverse as a quiet church through to a grinding step class or a stadium rock'n'roll gig thanks to its range of matching microphone and cable options.

Two of these mics were obtained to be used in our Church to feed the sound reinforcement system, replacing old AT VHF radio units with cardioid tieclip mics. The omni directional mics are much easier to use with church vestments to the point of being an essential requirement. The diversity receiver copes well with all the nooks and crannies that churchs have. The sound quality is smooth and well balanced and required very little tweaking to get a much improved sound. The four channels are not a restriction for this application as two units are sufficient for most services. Altogether excellent value fot money.

I am going to use this as a discreet microphone for dialogue when videoing. I tested the range of the unit from one end of my house to the other with no problems at all. This system is ideal for anywhere where a four channel wireless system is all that is required. [...] Well done Studiospares.
