The MTP 940 CM Condenser Performance Handheld Microphone by Lewitt Audio is for capturing audio. It is used for applications such as live sound, studio recording, lead vocals, background vocals, conference rooms, lecture halls, boardrooms, and more. It features three switchable polar patterns; wide cardioid, cardioid, and supercardioid. It is designed to capture most sound sources from lead vocals and choirs to classic unplugged situations with a singer and an acoustic instrument.

This MTP 940 CM microphone has a frequency response range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and is powered by 48V phantom power. It is built with a three-step high-pass filter that makes it possible to directly influence the proximity effect, adapting it in the best possible way to the sound source. It also features a three-position pre-attenuation pad that allows for extreme SPL environments. LEDs can be switched off if desired, but when switched on allow you to check microphone settings quick and easy. If you're looking for a studio mic to use onstage or when recreating a live atmosphere in the studio, the MTP 940 CM is a good choice. The connector is a gold-plated 3-pin XLR. A shock mount and carrying pouch are included.
