This Mic produces a great sound with very little messing around. It delivers straight away. I bought an AKG D112 and was disappointed with it so got a D6, and have not once been disappointed. Out of the box; great. With a little tweaking, fantastic: A quite remarkable and faultless Bass Drum microphone
