The 702 converts the outputs of equipment such as MP3 players, phones, laptops and DJ mixers to balanced, mic level signals that can be connected to audio consoles, mic preamps and house sound systems.
Stereo inputs via Jacks, 3.5mm Mini Jacks and Phonos are maintained and output to two 3-Pin XLR connectors. A merge switch sums the stereo inputs to mono and outputs two identical mono audio signals to each XLR output. The ground lift switch further reduces possible hums and buzzes. The 20dB pad switch ensures the transformers are not overloaded.
The two fully shielded isolation transformers galvanically isolate input and output connections, creating a pair of ultra-clean audio signals immune from hum and buzz caused by ground loops and RF interference. Heavy-duty construction. Made in Chicago.
