JBL EON 618S Active Sub
Building on its state-of-the-art EON600 Series portable PA loudspeakers, HARMAN’s JBL Professional is introducing the EON618S, an 18-inch, 1000W, self-powered subwoofer. With a purposefully designed large-volume enclosure to support true low-frequency extension, the EON618S is the best subwoofer in its class, at the most competitive price.
The EON618S rounds out JBL’s EON600 product family and is tuned to perform optimally alongside EON610, EON612 and EON615 full-range systems.
Borrowing design language from other EON600 systems, the EON618S features premium handles, a standard M20 threaded pole cup and an extremely rugged enclosure. DSP Parameters, including presets for EON600, EON200 and other manufacturers’ full-range loudspeakers, can be controlled via a Bluetooth app for iOS and Android. Selectable crossover presets are available through the EON Connect app.
The EON618S features a maximum SPL output of 134 dB, with a frequency range of 31Hz – 150Hz (-10 dB), and a frequency response of 42.5Hz – 150Hz (-3 dB), at a lightweight of 78 pounds. With 1,000W of highly efficient Class-D power, it has been designed to maximise cabinet volume while maintaining a highly transportable footprint.
