Studiospares Monitor Isolation Pads

The Studiospares Monitor Isolation Pads are specifically designed to isolate your studio monitors from supporting surfaces.

Decoupling your studio monitors from the support surfaces using Isolation Pads can reduce the effect of colouring on the sound you are hearing and prevent the sound from being lost towards the floor. Ultimately helping you achieve the most accurate monitoring environment.

The high-density isolation can support monitors with a weight of up to 20kg and will provide unparalleled acoustic absorption during your mixing and recording sessions.

Used with stand-mounted Studio Monitors as isolators. My stands have inverted spikes attached as feet, stood on old pennies on a wooden floor as extra isolation. OK with smaller studio monitors like Dynaudio BM5 series, Truths, Rokits. Tertiary isolation uses under vinyl transciption decks, cassettee decks, CD transports

One of the pads was thicker which meant the monitor wasn't level. Had to get handy with a scalpel to sort it out. Can't really tell if they make the sound any better, but for the price it was worth a try.

I use them to decouple My KRK's as well as a large pair of ex BBC Hi-Fi speakers does a fine job.

Studiospares price beats the others, the pads are easy to use and they enhance the sound from my monitors.

These seem a bit pricey for 4 bits of packing foam; however they do the job well. A good alternative to speaker stands where space is of the premium. I am sure they contribute to making my Seiwin monitors sound impressive.

Stiffish foam pads, horizontal and straight - no wedges for tilting. OK for non-pro use.

I had my reservations over how well these pads would work with weighty studio monitors but have proved valuable assets to my home studio. They're especially useful when dealing with sub-bass heavy tracks or instruments and prevent the desk and its contents from rattling and causing unnecessary noise.

These are great for if you need to angle your speakers down to get the tweeters at the right ear level, as I did. Once set in position you can just leave them alone.
