Bought these without hearing them on the strength of very positive reviews on the internet in general. For me some positives and negatives. On the positive side they are very comfortable, the mid range is very clear and the soundstage is excellent. On the negative side the treble sounds slightly artificial and deep bass does not seem to exist and rolls off fairly rapidly, you get the 'click' of the bass drum but not the 'thud' with any kind of presence. Although I make these comments as someone who's had the privilege of recording in some of the finest Studios in the World as well as countless 'project' studios over a 40 year period I am only expressing my personal opinions and findings. Will I keep them, probably. As commercial music isn't enjoyed in perfect listening conditions they will serve as another reference in the continual quest to achieve the best mix.
