When my DT150 headphones failed, Stuiospares was my first port of call as they carried the replacement inserts. Buying couldn't have been easier, and delivery was very quick.

I use these as monitor heads, for the drum room, we all like the sound, but they blow too easily, if turned up a bit hot, but drummers like it that way. they need protection in the circuit, so I don't have to keep paying to repair them.

If one or both sides of your DT150's expire due to enthusiastic adventures with the volume control, is it cheaper to repair or replace ? I've had to replace two inerts on my DT150's in the past three years and on each occasion I've forked out nearly £50 easch time for a new insert (inc P&P). For just a little more, I could have a new set - and would have had they both resigned as the same time. the solution I found was to buy a set of cans especially for late night post beer listening and save the Beyers for sensible use. Cheaper all round. As to the inserts supplied by S.S. - they're Beyer original parts and have matched perfectly with the exisitng inserts - no dodgy stereo fields or mismatched response curves.
