Uncompromising on quality, this balanced, 2.5m lead connects an XLR male plug to a stereo jack plug. The XLR is die cast and has no screws. The cable is compressed by the chuck principle when the top is tightened. Meanwhile, the all-metal jack plugs have an exterior moulded-on rubber type frip and an effective spring strain relief for absolute reliability. The cable retention is very positive, and a 24 strand x 0.12mm lapped copper screen ensures excellent flexibility and screening. Low DC losses are unsured by the use of 20 strands of 0.12mm copper wire. The leads are manufactured in accordance with ISO9001 and are imported by Studiospares in container loads - hence the incredibly low price. Black finish.

    I wanted to try balanced connections between a USB interface and some old-ish powered monitors, to see if that would cure some noise being picked up. These cables did the job as I'd hoped/expected. I'm using them in a project studio and they're fine for that. I'd probably spend a bit more if I wanted something a bit more rugged - for gigging for example.

    I had a very bad ground loop problem, by using these well priced balanced Jack to Balaned XLR, my system is totally hum free, no more ground loop problems, It does require balanced I/O for this task. [...] 5 STARS
