Sommer Quantum 8-Pair Analogue & AES/EBU Multicore Cable (Part number: 100-0451-08)


SOMMER EVOLUTION EMC AES/EBU/AUDIO MULTICORE For AES/EBU and DMX applications it would be difficult to find anything better than the Evolution EMC series. The impedance is precisely 110 ohms which is good news for anyone serious about digital transmissions. This cable shares all the desirable features of conventional analogue multicores so can be used for analogue and digital together. Pairs are double shielded with a conductive AL/PT-foil under spirally wound copper.

They are clearly numbered and use colour coded jackets (1-8 are grey. 9-16 are black etc.)Shielding is 100% so crosstalk should not be a problem. The overall construction and PVC jacket material provides built in flexibility. This cable is suitable for mobile and fixed installation purposes. Available in 6 configurations: Sold by the metre.
