HEAT SHRINKABLE TAPE This tape combines the advantages of heat shrinkable sleeving having the ability to be wrapped around irregular shapes and profiles. As the tape is wrapped around the component it will lightly adhere to itself. Heat is then applied and the tape will shrink and present a fully moulded appearance. Handy tip. To initiate shrinkage moisten (spit on) the last full turn of tape. Best results are at a temperature of 130 deg C. Operating temperature -55 deg C to 105 deg C. Width 19mm. Reel length 50 metres.

Great item - needed something to repair a power cable that had the outer insulation damaged that didn't require plugs being removed. Quick and easy repair.

Years ago (maybe as long ago as 20) I had some sticky sided heat shrink tape. Easy to wrap around joints and terminations as it adhered itself. Although this product did not claim to do so I did assume it would. My mistake but disappointing in itself. It is far too difficult to get it to keep on without applying separate adhesive, the heating properties of which I do not know. Would really like the sticky sided version. Service was prompt though

Used it to fix fraying outer sheath of Apple Mac power adapter (a common problem). It's very tricky to use, because the advertised 'light adhesion' is non-existent so it's basically just a strip of plastic. Wrap it, hold it in place (be prepared to get fingers burned) whilst heating, and it self amalgamates once sufficiently warm. It would be 100x better if it really was slightly self adhesive.

I looked everywhere for a product like this and didn't even know if it existed. It arrived promptly and was just what I needed. Many thanks.

Used it to repair a power supply where the cable joins the transformer. The cable insulator had cracked, leaving it at risk of snapping. The tape wrapped around the moulding and over the cable easily. I used a cable tie to hold it in place (no adhesive on the tape!) and simply heated it using a lighter. The repair is nice and strong.
