Klotz AC110 High-End Guitar Cable

KLOTZ AC110 guitar cable. Sold by the metre. Ideal for use with guitars on stage or in the studio.

Be it on stage or in the studio - wherever maximum sound fidelity is the objective, our AC110 is the first choice. Demanding instrumentalists will notice the difference at once: this top cable offers an extremely low capacitance. Crispy and dominant high frequency transmission at long distances on large stages even when pickups with lots of coils (i. e. high impendance) are used. Also brilliant is the thick sturdy jacket, the double screening and a thick foam PE insulation of the robust conductor.

Great cable, i'm using with neutrik phono plug and this combination is excellent.

Standard in guitar cables, but, I'll make a better one :)

I bought this to use as an interconnect to connect the components of aa HiFi system. It is the same cable as used by Rega research. Its low capacity and low resistance make it ideal for use as an interconnect.

This cable is what used to be called the "La Grange" cable - possibly the best guitar lead cable I've ever used! - Thanks goodness that I've found a replacement

I used this to make up some guitar leads using Neutrik jacks. The cable is right on the maximum diameter for the connectors, but it's not TOO big. The cable is very well made, and likely to be durable, but it is a bit stiff for a guitar lead. All cables sound the same, so don't expect anything special in terms of sound quality.

I use this cable commercially to manufacture reasonable quality IC leads for audio use. It's easier than most to strip, has a decent spiral shield and good quality signal core, plus is low enough capacitance and ground impedance to make very good phono leads with good protection against EMI/RFI. It's also very flexible and quite well finished at the price. The only drawbacks in use seems to have been some limited feedback that bass frequencies can be a little limited but there's no satisfactory technical reasoning for this. It makes perfect sense when compared with the cost of high end interconnects and the only drawback is that the sheathing isn't as tight a fit as it could be. There are far better cables out there but none at this price point which I can think of.

I bought some AC110 cable and Neutrik right-angled jacks from Studiospares 2-3 years ago and was amazed at the improvement in tone over my Piranha leads. The leads still do their job perfectly, full signal, superb tone and no issues whatsoever. If you're ok with basic soldering, forget ready made cables, and get some Klotz AC110 cable and some Neutrik jacks, which fit perfectly as long as you remember to snap off the ends of the plastic inserts to accommodate the thicker cable as per the supplied instructions.

Bought this to run between my guitar amp and pedal board. It is excellent quality cable and was a pleasure to work with. The only thing to consider is that it is quite a large diameter cable and doesn't fit very well in Neutrik jacks, so I'd recommend Switchcraft or G&H (if you can find 'em in UK) jacks instead.

If you make up your own guitar leads look no further than Klotz AC110 cable. Great product.
