Studiospares Cable Drum Snakes This multiway cable drum snake consists of a tubular metal frame/stand containing a plastic drum with 8x XLR connectors. An on/off brake locks the drum in any position. A sensible rubber handle makes carrying much easier. Plugs and sockets are clearly numbered. These drums include a newly developed fine braided mesh that covers the tails and extends from under the heatshrink and under the cable clamp inside the XLR. This greatly increases reliability. High quality connectors are used throughout and should last a lifetime.

Convenient for running several mics in marquee to desk in event tent during small venue outdoor concert. Could do with a facility to secure XLR tails when not in use.

Ideal for gigs large or small. Definitely not roadie proof in the long term but as with all things ... not much is . Provided you look after it I would guess it will last for years .

My community music organisation uses this once or twice a month, indoors and outdoors for both acoustic and electric gigs. It's easy to use and so far so good and has given us no trouble, but wouldn't recommend it for hard use. Great fro the price

Great when running an additional 8 channels in church situations.
