This is a solid built, well designed stand that will not only last but looks stunning. It is really practical as you can fold it away to fit in the optional K & M carry case making it easy to transport and taking up minimal space. The stand has some weight which I suppose helps to keep it sturdy when carrying heavy keyboards. It takes a few attempts to get the hang of folding the stand away whilst supporting it due to its weight, unless you are happy to rest the top of the stand on the floor whilst folding the legs away. The top of the stand has a screw thread for michrophone clamps and other attachements so I try not to lean it on the floor whilst resting it on this thread. There is a plastic collar that is attached to this thread which is threaded inside and out. This can be left on or taken off depending on what you are attaching to the stand. The stand can be used whilst standing or sitting down. This is better than the larger version for sitting down as the main bar is not as obtrusive, being shorter than its bigger brother. Arms are adjustable to any height by sliding up and down but thanks to a clever design, its mechanism does not allow the arms to drop on their own, even when unlocked so no concerns of your keyboard falling. The arms fold away neatly into the main bar for transportation. They also extend for larger keyboards. If you can afford the price, I would definitely recommend this stand as a good longterm investment that will both last and look amazing at the same time.
