Real useful item can be functional for other things we've got a stage piano and it has clearance enough for a wood shelf for sitting a computer and monitor on behind the keyboard so yes I would recommend this as it's functional in many ways beyond just a keyboard / mixer stand. And highly adjustable solid standing piece well finished, buy one today!

I like these solid stands, as they are suitable for deeper 88note boards. My suggestions for for improvement: 1) There are no second/third tier extenders available, so expect to fabricate these at home if you need these. A second Z stand can be sacrificed to achieve this aim. 2) A second bracing bar would be useful, directly under the keyboard. 3) The foam stuck to the bars assumes depth of the keyboard. This should be up the user to apply on arrival. The foam should be thicker to accommodate screw heads.

I use this stand with a 61-key MIDI controller keyboard. Good points: - sturdy metal construction. - adjustable height and width. - stable frame. Bad points: - unstable support. foam pads do not grip keyboard. not rubberised. - frame depth. twice the depth of keyboard. frame sticks out. - height adjusters stiff. awkward to operate. - black paint scratches easily. I don't recommend using this for gigging as the keyboard is likely to slip off the stand. It might be suitable for DJ equipment and mixing desks.

This product is very capable of fulfilling the job, although the width at the narrowest setting is too large for a 19" rack case. The stand flat packs for easy transport too and from gigs. All in all this little stand is good value for money and I'm planning to get a couple more in the near future.
