Focusrite RedNet A16R MkII

Overview

The Focusrite RedNet A16R MkII is a 16-channel analogue interface for Dante networks. The A16R MkII features two channels of AES3 I/O and precision A-D and D-A conversion provides you 119dB of dynamic range, flat from 20Hz - 20kHz (+/- 0.15dB). Individual input and output channel level controls allow for precise adjustment of all I/O levels using the RedNet Control. The A16R MkII also features two power supplies with primary and secondary EtherCON network connectors. The RedNet A16R MkII is perfect for critical-path applications in recording, postproduction, live sound and broadcast applications. Finally, the RedNet A16R MkII features built-in redundancy that allows for silent fail-over in the event of power or network outage, giving system technicians added reassurance.

Input and Outputs

Analogue inputs and outputs on the A16R MkII are connected through four rear-panel AES59 standard DB25 connectors, while an additional pair of AES3 I/O is provided to you through male and female XLR for that added flexibility. The XLR input can accept DARS signals in addition to AES3. Word Clock I/O on the BNC connectors allows for external devices to clock to the RedNet A16R MkII, or alternatively allows the RedNet A16R MkII to act as a network clock grandmaster, following an external input.

Perfect for permanent or on-the-move applications

The Focusrite RedNet A16R MkII is perfectly suited for both permanent installations and repeated strike and setup, all the connectors lock and remain terminated even under stress, providing a stress-free installation and peace of mind once situated in a rack.
