The C414 XL II/ST is a set of matched large-diaphragm condenser microphones from AKG that is an ideal solution for stereo vocal and instrumental applications. Each mic offers 5 selectable polar patterns, giving you the perfect solution for any recording situation. The mics have an extremely high SPL capability, wide dynamic range, and low self-noise to produce clean, lifelike audio without overloads or distortion.
The mic's metal body and transformerless design make it immune to electrostatic and electromagnetic interference for trouble-free operation. The capsule is internally mounted on an elastic suspension to minimize vibration and handling noise. A set of 3 switchable bass cut filters and 3 pre-attenuation pads let you reduce low-frequency pickup and increase the mic's headroom while recording loud sound sources.
Bi-colour LED indicators let you see the selected polar pattern and output overload at a glance. The set comes complete with a hard shell road case, shock mounts, a mic stand adapter, foam windscreens, and a stereo mounting bar.
