Prices
Please Note - ALL prices shown do include VAT, and are on a simple 'cash and
carry' basis. Everyone except callers to the Front Counter then pay for
delivery as required (see below).
Methods and Costs of Carriage
Mainland UK. Orders placed on the studiospares.com website and
received by us before 3pm (we cannot be responsible for delay due to slow
Internet service) will be charged at £5+VAT for Web Express Next Day Delivery,
or £3+VAT for Web Standard 2-5 Day Delivery. Orders of less than £25 and less
than 1kg in weight (able to pass through a letterbox) can be sent Web Letter
Post for £2 + VAT. Next working day before 12 noon for orders received before
3pm £13.00 per 20kg. Next working day before 10am for orders received before
3pm £20.00 per 20kg. Saturday delivery £25.00 per 20kg. Please order as early
as possible. Esmono Sound Booths are specifically excluded from all these
offers and Delivery for these Booths will be quoted separately.
European Community and Channel Islands. £6 flat rate charge
for up to 2kg or £100. Delivery 3-10 working days. We choose best possible way.
(NB Greek, Portuguese and Spanish islands not included). Alternatively, for
heavier or more expensive parcels, please refer to the following chart normally
a 2 to 4 day delivery, and does not apply to deliveries of acoustic tiles or
screens, Rockwool, Computer desks or workstations, or Esmono rooms.

For the Channel Islands
and Eire we also have a small order carriage cost of £5.00 for a weight of up
to 1.5Kg and less than £100.00.
Highlands, Islands and N.lreland. Next day delivery is
practically impossible without considerable expense. Standard 48-72 hour
delivery costs £10.
Outside European Community. We ship worldwide by whatever means
the clients prefer. We obtain preferential rates and pass these on to clients.
Please ask for a quote.
Parcels are sent uninsured at the client's risk. Insurance is very
expensive. In ten years, lost parcels have not exceeded £2000 in total.
Special Deliveries
Same Day. We ship locally via bike or van, or to distant
destinations by Red Star. Customer to pay all costs, No freight company
GUARANTEES same day delivery but couriers will be 99% certain. Orders need to
be received by 3pm.
Saturday. OK providing we receive the order by 2pm Friday. It
takes time to arrange the most appropriate carrier as mast work Monday - Friday
only. Carriage costs are 2 - 5 times normal and will be charged at whatever it
costs Studiospares
Collection of goods by an Account Holder
For security reasons, Account customers will need to provide a written order or
a faxed order before collecting, and bring a copy of the order and
identification with them when they collect. Previous employees sometimes take
liberties.
Credit Card orders by telephone
The Credit Card companies insist that if clients wish to collect goods from the
Trade Counter it is the card holder who must collect and sign. If we are
sending goods, they can only be sent to the card holder’s address which is
verified with the card company before despatch.
Methods of payment
Cash, Cheque, Access, Visa, Switch, EuroCard, Master Card, Direct Transfer to
Bank. We clear cheques within minutes to avoid delays, identification is likely
to be required. Credit Card transactions by phone or letter will require the
Expiry Date, Valid From Date or Issue Number and Security Code as well as the
card number. Goods can only be sent to Card Holder’s address which is verified
before despatch.

Liability
The customer will be responsible for ensuring the goods fit the
purpose of the application. Studiospares endeavours to ensure that the
information given in this catalogue is correct. We accept no liability in
respect of loss arising from errors in the information provided. In no event
shall any breach of contract or tort or negligence or failure of any kind on
our part or that of our employees be accepted as liability for loss of revenue
or consequential loss or damage arising from any cause whatsoever.

Returns Policy
The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 and your right to
cancel (excludes trade counter purchases)
In accordance with The Customer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000,
Studiospares provides customers with the right to cancel an order within 7
working days of receipt of the goods. You must notify Studiospares of your
intention to do so within this 7 day period. Goods must be returned at your
cost and liability, unused and as new, complete with all accessories, cables,
manuals and software in undamaged original packaging. Goods must be protected
for transit by a double box or cardboard outer. Proof of purchase in the form
of Studiospares packing slip or invoice must be provided with the goods. Your
original delivery charge will be refunded.
Please note that unsealed recordable media and computer software are not
covered under the right to cancel. “Customised” orders, including cut lengths
of cable, are also exempt.
Damaged Goods / Errors
If you believe that an order may have been damaged in transit to you, please
sign for it as “damaged” to the carrier, or refuse to accept the delivery. You
must retain all original packaging for examination. You must contact us
immediately by phone 020 8208 9951, fax 020 8450 4390 or
returns@studiospares.com.
You must notify Studiospares of damaged goods within 24 hours of receipt of
goods. You must notify Studiospares of any errors in orders within 3 days of
receipt of goods.
Defective Items (Warranty Repairs and Guarantees)
Please carefully read all manuals supplied with an item before you report it as
faulty. There may be a relevant function that is not immediately obvious.
Carriage charges are payable for any item found not to be faulty.
Please note that Warranty provisions do not cover normal wear-and-tear or
consumable items such as DJ mixer cross faders, turntable styli or recordable
media.
Within 28 days from receipt of goods
If upon return to Studiospares an item is inspected and agreed to be faulty, at
the discretion of Studiospares a replacement or refund will be offered. You
should notify Studiospares Returns Department to organise collection of
suspected faulty goods. Goods must be returned as new, complete with all
accessories including manuals, cables and software in the original packaging.
Supporting paperwork in the form of a note explaining the suspected problem,
and the Studiospares invoice or packing slip must be included. Goods must be
protected for transit by a double box or cardboard outer. Please note that
replacements or refunds are not able to be processed unless these procedures
are followed. Please note that no liability will be accepted for goods returned
without original packaging.
After 28 days and before one year from receipt of the
goods
If a fault develops during this period, Studiospares Returns Department should
be notified of your intention to return the equipment. Studiospares will
organise collection, and then return of the equipment when repairs have been
carried out. Goods must be returned in original or as good as packaging, eg
flight case protection, for warranty repairs to be considered. If upon
inspection, the fault is found to be outside of the manufacturer's warranty
conditions, a charge will be made for repair of the goods and their subsequent
return.
Out of Warranty Period - Repairs
We regret that at this time Studiospares are unable to organise out of warranty
repairs.
Price rises
Studiospares endeavours to hold the catalogue price for the life of that
catalogue. However although many prices have fallen, others are rising
significantly. For this reason, we cannot guarantee catalogue prices.
Discounts
Everyone in our industry is in ‘The Trade’. Practically all Studiospares prices
are discounted. Some prices are just a few % above our buying in price. We
supply huge purchasing organisations, dealers, schools, charities and
acknowledge that such purchasers should pay less if they are purchasing larger
quantities. Therefore quantity discounts apply to all products and are shown
under that item's code number. We run a very efficient operation so have lower
running costs. We prefer to pass these savings on to the customer. Many
Manufacturers/Importers insist we publish only full list prices. To obtain our
actual selling price simply phone and quote the product’s code number. Our
actual selling price is whatever the computer shows and everyone pays the same
price.
Security
All sensitive information that is transmitted through our site, including the
on-line processing of credit/debit card payments, is encrypted using SSL
(Secure Sockets Layer Technology). SSL encrypts your order information to avoid
the decoding of your information by anyone other than representatives of
Studiospares. Details of the Secure Server Certificate may be viewed via the
Secure Site logo on the web page footer. Credit/debit card information faxed or
passed via telephone is recorded and safe-guarded by normal retailing
practices. All details held by our servers in electronic form are protected
from internet 'hackers' by proven firewall systems and your own login
credentials. In common with other web sites we log the IP addresses of all
computers connecting to the site. This is to help us to determine and report
fraudulent activity.
Privacy Policy
Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we do
not sell it or otherwise pass it on to other companies or individuals. We do
from time to time employ other companies to perform functions on our behalf.
Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail
and e-mail, providing marketing assistance, and processing credit card
payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their
functions, but may not use it for other purposes. Further, they must process
the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and as
permitted by the UK's Data Protection Act.

Studiospares PRICE MATCH policy means we promise
to match any genuine price offered by our competitors an any item or order from
our catalogue.
How does it work?
We try to make all our prices highly competitive, but if you find one of our
products in stock elsewhere in the UK at a lower price, simply tell us and we
will match that price. Please be ready to tell us the name and telephone number
of the company where you saw the lower price.
Are there any exceptions?
Studiospares will endeavour to make NO exceptions. However occasionally certain
outlets grossly overstock a product and then have to sell at a loss or sell off
end of line products proclaiming 50% off. Studiospares cannot promise to sell
at a loss; where a competitor’s price is below our buying-in price, we may be
obliged to offer a ‘best possible deal’ instead of matching the price. Please
phone to avoid any disappointment.
