ARMOUR SHIELDED HIGH FLEXIBILITY JACK LEAD 5m  The ultimate in strength,  reliability and quality. The stainless steel screening is spirally wound  with the ends moulded into a plastic stopper inside the jack plug. This  technique removes any possibility of the screening breaking away from the  plug. Of a similar design to the handset leads used in some vandal  resistant public telephone boxes. Much more flexible than conventional PVC  cables. Underneath the external stainless steel armour is a very high  specification single core cable with 20 strands of 0.12mm diameter copper  cable. This is within an additional antistatic graphite impregnated tube  which stops crackle when the lead is flexed. The spirally wound copper  shield consists of 64 strands of 0.12mm diameter copper wire. This is  covered in a PVC jacket underneath the armour screen. The jack plugs are  hard chromed and nickel where appropriate.
