SNAKES 8, 16 and 24 way  A comprehensive range of Cable Snakes for   patching Microphones, DI boxes, Synths etc. to a distant mixer. Also   included are returns for foldback which can be used as additional inputs   to the mixer. The system is balanced throughout but all or part can   equally be used unbalanced.  The 8+4 version includes 8 x XLR inputs to   the mixer plus 4 x Jack Line Inputs/foldback returns.  The 16+8 has 16  XLR  inputs plus 8 x Jack Line Inputs/foldback returns.  The 24 way  version has  24 XLRs both ends with no Jacks.  All versions are based on  the  Studiospares Mic/Wall Box (codes 401-561 and 401-381) which is  easily the  UK's most popular model and noted for its rugged  construction. A metal  cable gland relieves the strain between the cable  and box. Neutrik XLRs  and Jack plugs are used throughout. The cable is  foil screened for the  effective rejection of interference and mains hum.   Individual cables are  jacketed for positive grip between cable and  plug. Generous tails are  provided such that they can span between inputs  and group/foldback  outputs. Overall construction reflects the rigours of  the Recording  environment.  Four standard cable lengths (3m, 6m, 12m,  and 25m) provide  enough system flexibility to meet 90% of applications.  They also enable us  to provide 'off the shelf' delivery.  Special  Lengths We are able to  supply this loom tailored to any length by  payment of a  £20 flat  "tailoring" fee (order code 400-200) per loom  plus the cost of the  additional cable required.
