All wires are numbered for better identification. The application for the Nautilus is extremely diverse, because of the hybrid construction. It is especially favoured for the wiring of powered mixing desks(those with integrated amplifiers). All necessary connections (microphone, speakers, and power) can be transmitted using one cable. The Nautilus is flexible and very robust, i.e. very suitable for the stage. Sommer recommend a fault current protection switch to prevent personal injury and grounding errors. To prevent the core from heating up the NAUTILUS should always be completely wound off the drum.
