STUDIOSPARES ACOUSTIMAX BLUE 100MM  Based on the highly successful Studiospares Performance Plus tiles which  use the heavyweight 40kg/per cubic metre foam. Acoustimax tiles provide  an optimum ratio between performance and price. The surface is profiled  by a computer controlled band saw which cuts expensive production time by  80% and reduces wasted material to an absolute minimum. Viewing the  surface through a magnifying glass reveals the reason why their high  frequency absorbsion remains at such a high level. The surface looks  rough where the surface bubbles are ruptured in the cutting process. This  breaks up high frequencies which are ultimately reflected back unto the  tile for more absorption. The 100 mm version provides greater low  frequency control. If low frequencies are not a problem use the thinner  50 mm Acoustiwedge versions. Looks very interesting when set in groups of  four with each tile turned 90 degrees to the next.    Dimensions 500mm x 480mm. STUDIOSPARES ACOUSTIC CONTROL SERIES  All of the Acoustic Control series are based on heavyweight foam designed  specifically for  acoustics (not Packaging). Our foam has a density of  40kg/cu metre which is heavyweight. The majority of other manufacturer's  tiles have a density of 24kg/cu metre and this is why the studio control  series outperforms it's competitors.
