SENNHEISER EVOLUTION 100 series UHF WIRELESS MICS  The new 100 series give  professional quality UHF transmissions. The system comprises of a  transmitter and receiver. The transmitters comprise handheld, lavalier or  headmicrophones each with four switchable preset frequencies. The mains  powered receivers are of the true diversity type. The handheld  microphone/transmitter is machined from metal (not plastic) and includes a  supercardioid capsule.  This series operates in the carrier frequency  range 838-870MHz which is deregulated and can be used without a UK  licence. In total the 100 series can operate on 1280 switchable carrier  frequencies covering five different UHF bands. Also available is a plug in  transmitter that will simply convert any dynamic microphone into a  wireless mic.   HANDHELD Based on the Sennheiser E845 supercardioid  (hypercardioid) capsule the system yields a frequency response of 60Hz -  18kHz and a signal/noise ratio better than 110dB (A weighted). A true  diversity receiver is also included. Transmitter battery life 8 hours.
