The frequency response and pick-up pattern are optimised for drum sets and percussion instruments. The E604 also excels on brass and woodwind. An integral stand mount screws directly onto mic stands. The included clip attaches the mic directly to the rim of the drum. It is able to reproduce levels in excess of 160dB. The lightweight voice coil provides extended high frequencies and rapid transient response. The response extends from 40Hz to 18kHz. The tough reinforced glass fibre body takes the knocks and shocks and suppresses impact noise.
