This may cause hums and buzzes because unwanted ground loops/hum loops are created. Humfrees isolate the equipment cases in two ways. Firstly, by providing insulation between the equipment and adjacent equipment and the rack, such problems are eliminated. Secondly, by utilising specially machined mounted bolts that have the thread near the bolt head recessed and insulated. That way the bolts threads do not touch the inside edges of the equipment's mounting slots. Kit comprises, four M6 x 16 bolts and four dual purpose Insulators. Also now suitable for SKB cases which use M5 threaded securing strip.
