FOCUSRITE COMPOUNDER  The CompounderTM is a dynamics processor designed to  first clean up a mono   or stereo signal via a gate/expander, then apply  minimal to huge amounts of   compression such that it becomes an effect  and apply a potent bass boost   appropriate to Dance or Techno Music. The  output may be limited by an opto   device to give an improved performance  over VCA limiters. The input   expander makes easy work of lowering noise,  particularly on vocal tracks.   There is an effective release/hold  essential for accurate gate control. The   compressor  provides both soft  and hard knee compression with a range   extending to infinity to get that  classic pumping sound. The Bass Expander   makes Kick drums and Bass riffs  more powerful and effective. This expander   circuit generates extra Bass  harmonics to fatten up any low frequency   signal. Inputs/Outputs XLR and  Jack +4dBu and -10dBu. Key input (for gate   side chain) on a jack.
