HHB MDP500 PORTABLE MINIDISC RECORDER  The MDP500 has a versatile array of  inputs including XLR mic/line with   switchable 48v phantom powering and  switchable limiters. Line output is via   phono sockets. I/Os are coaxial  and optical SPDIF digital. Monitoring is by   the internal speaker or via  a headphone jack. The is also a USB port for   transferring audiofiles to  and from laptop editors allowing for example,   finished news pieces to be  both recorded and edited in the field. There is   a 6 second pre-record  buffer, one touch recording, lockable record level   control, a memory  buffer for glitch free recording plus a large illuminated   display with a  wide viewing angle. Powered by AA alkaline or NiMH   rechargeable  batteries.Comes with 8xAA re-chargeable Ni-MH batteries and mains charger  / PSU. Also, a spare battery holder for use with 8x standard AA  batteries, and a soft padded case.  Code 260-890
