Barry Lambden.

The person fortunate enough to run an amazing organisastion, Studiospares.
I co-ordinate the smooth running and future direction of the company. My last 'proper job' was being chief engineer of the UK end of Revox the Swiss tape recorder manufacturer. I established Industrial Tape Applications (ITA) in 1972 where we developed and produced the wold’s first 8 track half inch tape recorder, Industrial Tape Duplicators (ITD) which became the UK's second largest Cassette Duplicating Company in 1976. and Studiospares in 1983. Much of my work is desk bound so I play badminton four times a week in an effort to keep fit. Still leave home for work by 6am for a 6.30 start. Although I am in my 60s, I have no desire to fade away as I love my work and I have a well established management team who run the day to day routines admirably. Hobbies, Badminton, Sailing, American Square Dancing, Cycling and the Family.

Operations Manager
Mike Dowsett

Mike has been with Studiospares for nearly 20 years so there isn't much about the operation he doesn't know. His current role as Operations Manager includes responsibilities (amongst many others) for overseeing the Sales Dept., Warehouse Dept., and Returns dept. If we do let a customer down (it happens occasionally) his aim is to put it right as soon as possible. Mike enjoys Digital Photography and travelling (70 miles to work every day), speaks German and is honing his skills in Polish.
