BG205s are suitable for background music, installations, announcements or a mulitchannel surround sound application.
They are not a single television type speaker in a box, they're a very solid speaker.
- Low frequencies are handled by a 5 inch driver with an enormous magnet.
- The 0.75 inch soft domed tweeter contains a ferrofluid to cool things down when the tweeter is driven hard.
- The internal crossover unit ensures the correct signals reach each speaker.
- Handle 50 watts RMS which is a lot of power, considering its size.
- The response extends from 95Hz to 20kHz.
