Which way round should the speakers go...

    Hi,

I have a pair of the studiospares SN10s.

One has the tweeter to the left of the speaker (with writing to the right of it) and the other has the tweeter on the right of the speaker (with writing to the right).

Does it matter which way round the speakers go, or are they designed that one should be on the left and the other on the right?

    Cheers

    Gavin

Hi Gavin! If it is anything like the classic Yamaha NS-10's then I believe the tweeter should be furthest away i.e. on the left tweeter should be furthest left etc.

I could be completely mistaken though, as I can only comment on the NS-10's not on the speakers you have bought.

    hi,

I have some ns10m's and have tried them upright and they should be set with the tweeters to the outer edges, it does sound different. Infact they sound better upright than on their sides like most people use them. just for fun why don't
