AURALEX. PYRAMIDS 50mm PURPLE x1 PIECE AURALEX STUDIOFOAM PYRAMIDS These Pyramid tiles from Auralex are made from the same high-spec foam as the Auralex Wedges. With slightly less foam mass, they perform about 85% as well as Wedges. They cost a bit more because they have to pass through the specialised saw twice, but the result is a great-looking tile. Available in Charcoal Grey, Purple, and Burgundy. Two thicknesses to choose from: 2" (50mm) and 4" (100mm). Tiles sold singly; each tile is 2ft x 4ft (607 x 1214mm). 50mm Charcoal Code 461-340. 50mm Purple Code 461-350. 50mm Burgundy Code 461-360. 100mm Charcoal Code 461-370. 100mm Purple Code 461-380. 100mm Burgundy Code 461-390. 2" acoustic Studiofoam Pyramids treat small - to medium-sized areas including iso booths, control rooms and sound studios. They effectively kill standing waves and flutter echoes and, when used in conjunction with LENRDs or Venus Bass Traps, can effectively tame the full frequency bandwidth in virtually any acoustic environment. 2" Studiofoam Pyramids offer a bit of extra sound diffusion and slightly less sound absorption than 2" Studiofoam Wedges, so they yield a less dry-sounding space with a bit more "air".
